La Ofrenda Festival
about.
La Ofrenda Festival is an annual celebration of Indigenous traditions, cultura, and the arts, highlighting the deep cultural roots that have shaped my hometown while marking a new creative era for Gilroy, CA.
As a returning Graphic Design Intern, I had the opportunity to help shape the festival’s inaugural visual identity system, contributing to the development of cohesive assets across print, digital, environmental, and event experiences.

challenge.
As a growing inaugural festival, La Ofrenda Festival needed a cohesive visual identity system capable of supporting communication across digital, print, environmental, and community-facing touchpoints.
The festival required adaptable design assets that could effectively communicate programming, strengthen brand recognition, and create a consistent experience across both online promotion and in-person events.
objective.
Create a scalable visual communication system that could unify the festival’s presence across social media, web, merchandise, signage, and live event environments.
The work aimed to support audience engagement, improve visual consistency across platforms, and help establish a recognizable identity for a new cultural event rooted in community, art, and tradition.

result.
Helped establish a cohesive inaugural visual identity system that strengthened the festival’s communication across both physical and digital platforms.
The work contributed to a more unified audience experience while creating a flexible visual foundation capable of supporting future programming, events, and continued community growth.
